Description of Elevator Terminal Switch and Elevator Limit Switch

The lift switch is the trigger point for limit signals or terminal station signals. There are two limit signals, namely the upper limit and the lower limit. Once the elevator passes these two elevator limit switches, it must slow down to a stop. The deceleration process is a relatively slow process. Currently, the control cabinet basically uses soft limit signals, which are composed of door area signals and floor signals. The end station signal is also divided into upper and lower stations. Once the elevator passes through the end station during operation, the speed must be reduced, which can also be called a speed switch.

The elevator limit switch is the core component of the elevator. This small component of the lift switch controls the operation of the elevator. Without this lift switch, the elevator may exceed its limit and cause serious harm to passengers. The elevator limit switch will stop the elevator at the correct floor to prevent it from exceeding the designated height. These lift switchws are crucial safety components in elevator systems. If this small electrical equipment which is the lift switch is not installed, there will be more elevator accidents. These lift switches' main function is to control the elevator and prevent it from being too high or too low, which is particularly important when it comes to passenger safety. The lift switch can accurately stop the elevator at the predetermined position. 

The main function of the limit switch is to determine the position of the elevator car. When the elevator car reaches a certain position (such as the top or bottom of the shaft), the limit switch will turn on and send a signal to the elevator control system, causing the elevator car to stop running. In short, the limit switch informs the elevator through an electrical signal that it has reached its destination and should stop here.
